In the Beginning, just before time
When All this abyss was still dark and sublime
And the Old Ones were young and they still liked to play
God School let out early for the first real snow day
The deities all frolicked and laughed at the frost
And smacked one another with the balls that they tossed
Then someone brought shovels so they could really throw highAnd the snow filled the heavens and lit up the skyAnd that’s how the stars were made—so now, kid, you know
It was just a bunch of dumb godlings enjoying the snow
