The Beauty of Simplicity it’s a project about Cycladic Architecture, on connection with the familiar feeling, that cause to me the homes of an area, in the main village of Ios island, in Cyclades of Greece.

Minimal Architecture aisthetics, whitewhased homes, sometimes with colorful windows and doors, rocks - because this area it’s on a hill - floors from stones, under the great sunlight and the blue sky, in a neighborhood where some elements of the new age style of decoration coexist harmoniously with the old and worn.

The exact idea comes when I was that summer for holidays in Ios Island, I was have in my mind to photograph the island and I take many pictures from all the island. But when I’ve been in the upstair area of the main village, the feeling it was totally different for me. So I stopped for a few hours in that neighborhood and created that project.

Minimal Architecture it’s means for me and minimal aisthetics for my frames, so most of all I try to capture only the main elements of this area, except from some cases. Also sometimes I try to play with the hard light of the summer noon Cycladic sun, on connection with the minimal Cycladic Architecture, creates an Expressionism scenery for me.
