Currently on view at Stephanie Chefas Projects in Portland, Oregon is artist Laura Berger’s solo exhibition, “Find Ourselves Here.”

In this latest collection, Berger continues to explore themes of existentialism and community within the framework of her signature aesthetic. Against a backdrop of warm, minimalist colorways, female figures synchronize to near-ritualistic effect. The kinetic flow between their simplified forms cultivates pure visual harmony, though not to the point of rendering individualism obsolete. It’s through their totemic dance that Berger’s completely identifiable iconography comes bursting to life.
